About Emma
I'm a Clinical Psychologist practicing in Hazelbrook, NSW, with over 15 years of practice experience. I provide therapy for young people 18 years and over, and adults. I enjoy employing treatments focused on behaviour change to help my clients achieve their goals as quickly as possible. I have a particular interest in using EMDR therapies and am continuously undergoing supervision and training in the use of EMDR for distressing and traumatic memories and experiences.
Issues I provide treatment for include:
Anxiety and anxiety disorders (generalised, specific and social phobias, panic attacks and panic disorder)
Depression (low mood, hopelessness, self-doubt, suicidal ideation)
Relationship issues
Anger issues
Trauma
Issues and presentations that I do not treat include:
eating disorders
therapy for children sought amidst divorce proceedings
My clinical experience includes employment in independent schools, adolescent mental health, and private practice. I hold a Master of Psychology (Clinical) and was awarded the Dean's Medal for Academic Excellence for this degree. To maintain my skills at the highest level, I regularly participate in professional development activities and clinical supervision.
